If thats the same truck he was telling me about at DnD last year, he is up for the Ridler Award...
I dont think he will be out to "mini-truck" shows..more of the high end collector car shows...

i'm not sure if minitruckin would be able to fit it into the pages of the mag anyway...they're pretty busy putting static dropped trucks and other bull shit in there.

Re: Awesome Blog on the scene...go check it out...
I don't mind the fact a static dropped truck has some coverage, my point is if it wasn't Ernie's truck there is no way it would have ever been on the cover...there are some pretty bad ass static dropped trucks out there...IMO that one just was very clean, just not cover worthy

Re: Awesome Blog on the scene...go check it out...
This months mag, Ernie's static mazda got the cover. Not matter what anyone says static dropped trucks have a spot in the lifestlye. Its what it started about, the old Mazda's that had cranked torsion bars and sectioned bodys to give the static body drop effect. I tired of everyone saying that if its Bolt On its nothing... To some people thats all we can do for the time being. Dont look down upon Static trucks just because less hours were put into it, they have just as much pull in the lifestyle that bagged trucks do.

Re: Awesome Blog on the scene...go check it out...
all i'm saying is that i'd rather see a truck that is on the ground rather than a truck with drop springs and spindles and some lowering blocks.
not to mention mike alexander is always on ssm saying support the mag, blah blah blah. well, putting a lowered truck on the cover isnt gonna make the average joe at walmart nearly as interested as a bodied truck.

I get what he's saying... but still static or bagged it's still a mini and there all bad ass if done right and cauzin your truck is clean as hell... but me i'd rather see a bagged mini on the front of mini truckin but then again that issue was titled OLD SCHOOL and just seeing what they looked like back then compared to now is crazy...

I'd rock a staic.........................less things to go wrong and you could drive them @ colder temps without the risks of valve failure
