got stop for being to low

ive noticed the past couple days that cops are really steppin up there game and there are alot more out...

I got stopped last night around 2 ish. I was on the way home from ryans (dragnlo) I was about 30 sec from me pullin into my driveway. Soo i stop and The only reason i could think of being stopped was my passenger tailight isnt working right and i knew that. The cop comes up and tell mes i am to low. the legal limit says my plates have to be higher then 5 iches when driving. my rear plate is 5 inches even when im slammed out so i checked today and im 7-1/2 incehs at my normal ride hight. the front is about the same when im driving...

I want to know how does a cop know how low i really am with out really lookin at it and not mesureing it...

He told me he didnt want me to scrap his road up from being to low... just wait a week... i'll tear up his lovly road draggin that shit.

if he is gonna right you a ticket, tell him bust out the tape measure, and if you weren't scraping the road then tell him to f@#% off (freedom of speech). Some cops are deucebags

I wouldnt say f off but i would ask him to neasure next time and be polite. You never know how man other tickets he could write you. JIMMY

i got puled over in my old mazda for my tail lights being to low (i caddy lites in it and they are like 20 inches high) well he told me the legal limit was 15 inches from the ground and i said that they were and he argued with me so i made him measure it and they were 15 1/4 but he gave me a ticket anyways so i faught it and won and he was fired for harrasment cuz this was not the first time ha had done that to numerous people

Best thing to do is know the local laws and fight the ticket when you know your right...always give respect to the 5-0
I got pulled over in my ranger once for no rear bumper...I was respectful and the cop started asking me about everything I had done to the truck and pointed out all the things that were not exactly illegal on my truck but could get me pulled over, he asked what all I was planning on doing to the truck and informed me what the laws were that I needed to be in line with...then he gave me a warning and let me go..was a really good experience...anytime I see the officer he asks me how the truck is coming..wants me to bring it by the station when its done...lol

waste of time for having a mouth........and prob. a day off of work!!!!!!!!!

You CAN get a ticket for profanity... has happened.

does any one know were to go to find out all the legal limmits?

i found out by lookin it up on google just depends on what state you are in if you have lowring/suspension laws and what not..

i get stopped by Elburn cops all the time for being to low. but they can never produce any laws stating a height requirement for a lowered car or truck, only a lift height requirement
