DAMMIT!!!
if its not one damn thing its another!! this morning on my way to work, i was turning onto the road where i work at, i go to drop my truck into 2nd gear and it wouldnt go in gear. i slowed the truck down more and it still wouldnt go in gear. wouldnt go into ANY gear!! btw, my truck is a manual. anyways, i stopped on the side of the road, turned the truck off and got it into gear just fine. turned the truck back on, put it in first while holding in the clutch and the brake and after a second or 2, it lurches forward while im holding the clutch and brake in. WTF?????!???? i think my transmission is going. this pisses me off. im damn near ready to sell my truck because im tired of dumping money into it to keep it running. GRRRR!!!!!

Re: DAMMIT!!!
I agree with guido, sounds like a burnt up clutch to me. if it was the tranny it wouldnt go in gear while shut off either. .

Re: DAMMIT!!!
its a hydrolic clutch, check the reservoir on the driver side inner fender and see if you need to add fluid....good chance thats your problem

Re: DAMMIT!!!
the clutch reservoir was REALLY low. im talkin damn near no fluid at all....some not a whole lot. anyways, i added some DOT 3 brake fluid (per Ford's recommendation) and ran thru the gears a few times. the more i ran thru the gears, the smoother it got. i also pumped the clutch a few times. i guesss i will see what happens when i drive my truck again. thanks for the help Paco
