tysons stand. cab s10 prject
Well after owning about 3 pre-bagged
trucks with several hacks i have decided to bag my daily that started
out completely stock. This way if anything comes out shitty i have only
myself to blame, and a few helpers lol but anyways its a 2000 stand cab
s10 w/170k on the clock 2.2 auto. Project shouldnt be to slow because
I'm having a friend weld in my sd.com notches tommorow and that was
really the only thing holding me up cause my welding skills are pretty
weak rite now. I will have a lot of phone pics cause i have no digi
unless i can pick one up some time soon
Heres my parts list of what i have now.
air suspension and management
cando spec. reverse 4 link (bolt-on)
raised gas tank x-member
upper bolt-in cups on the way
2 dom2500's also on the way
2 unnamed bags that were on a friends full size
1 five gal tank
8 1/2in valves
380c viair comp and 30/40 amp relay
square d pressure switch
old 10 switch box may have avs arc 7 on the way
airline
various fittings
2 dual needle gauges and 1 single needle
other parts
18" adr wheels with 45 series rubber soon to be 40series
goodmark gen 2 cowl hood
clear headlights and corners
pro tint job w/ brow
parts i still need
lower bolt in cups
3 gauge pillar pod
drop spindles
new grille
roll pan
ss mirrors
1/2 air line
new ball joints
dehump lowers
front shock kit
drop shocks for rear
Ill have some pics of the notches and other stuff but heres some before pics

when i first got it stock with halos, i ahte halos and euro taillights.

shitty pic but new hood wheels and lights
Got my notches welded in with the
help of my buddy Ike, Should have the 4 link bolted up in e few days, I
think i'm going to dehump my lowers and plate them so i don't need
lower bag cups, but we''ll see where that goes. . well heres some phone
pics

Can't really see the evap can but its getting relocated again when i bolt up the 4 link
notches weren't 100% perfect but they were pretty good all in all it
went smoothe for my first time ever doing it, the guy in the pics is
Ike the welder not me btw he's a kick ass friend, Should of got a pic
of his dime and posted it ill get one next time im out there its pretty
nice.

Re: tysons stand. cab s10 prject
Thanks dude, they should be up this week or weekend.. I'm not relocating to tub the front until i get some drop spindles which may take some time. . Therefore i didn't cut the fenders out of the bed so it will lay even until i do the front then ill cut them out all the way.

Re: tysons stand. cab s10 prject
update
Okay
well my dad was an asshole and didnt let me use his shop over the
weekend so i was forced to do at a friends under a "carport" i guess
you could call it. . .anyhow it went pretty good had problems with the
raised gas tank cross member just cause neither one of us could seem to
drill holes the way they were suppose to be so that was a pita. . But
other than that everything went pretty good, still gotta pull the front
apart again and cut out the pockets around the bag a little more, i
mocked them up but they were different after i bolted it all together.
The only other problem i have to fix is the u-bolts on the axle i didnt
get them tight enough and didnt tighten the allen heads that sit in the
axle plate things so the axle is moving side to side a little bit
(thanks for the help with that sadexcuse)
Since i did all the work in a carport thing i had to use flood lights
and didnt really get any good pics of the assembly which really sucked
but the things i did there are a million threads for so guess its not
that big of a deal.

i need drop spindles and yes i did all the work in that pit of jagged rock it was very painful lol
