getting upset

Post by 1low98 on Fri Mar 27, 2009 6:35 pm

I have had my truck ready to go to LOATP for 2 months now, counting the days down everyday to for the time to get here. Now its a week away and im really getting upset. Just in this week I have found out that the bushings on the cross shaft is broke in the upper A arm on the truck and should not be driven like it is. Not only is this a job that I cant do, Im also having problems finding just the crossshafts, everyone wants to sell you the whole A arm. Which I cant afford at this time and try to pay the end of the month bills and also go to TN. Not only that but now I have a fill valve not working at the moment and the front right side is not lifting and again a week to go.

On top of it all I was going to use another guys trailer to pull the truck to TN and now he said he had a trailer stolen last year when he lent it out to someone. The person that borrowed the trailer's insurance didnt cover it, so he did not get it back. Wants me to check with my insurance to see if the trailer will be covered. Only problem there is im also borrowing someones van to pull the trailer. So the only thing that is mine is the truck on the back..my insurance lady said my truck isnt even covered that way and to ask the insurance of the van what they will cover. So untill this guy knows his trailer is covered on my trip, I wont be able to use that.

Even more is my back lisence plate is on a actuator and has broke. The track for the plate has cracked and cam out of place, and you cant get to it to fix it.

Loatp might be a no go for me and thats the upseting p-art.

Yea not only do I not have a place to do it, but wouldnt know where to begin on getting the upper A arm out. If you had a garage maybe I could get it that way this week.

if its stock arms wont be nothin. I think the hombre has the same suspension set-up as the s10 don't they? and s10's front suspension is easy as hell to tear down. if its aftermarket make sure you get the bushings and we can do it at the shop.
