I would get a good set of drop shocks, and take a day or 2 wire wheel the frame, spray some epoxy, n some of the "smart" spray on bedlinner, will clean up nice n last alot longer.

I was bored and its raining out so took my tire off to see if i could find out whats going on. I found out the problem. Under the C notch there is a extra beam welded in with a rubber stop.. I took some pics. If some one wants to cut it out and move it up a couple inches and fix it for me i'll pay em $100 i dont have the space and the tools to do it.

Why would someone go thru the trouble of doing a c-notch and weld a bump stop in like that?
that doesnt needed welded back in bro, it just needs to be cut out and thru away...

now that I look at it I think that stop is there to keep the truck from layin out on the exhaust... it appears to be going under the frame and dumpin at the side.

hey man simple solution... go to a Home Depot or a Lowes rent a saw zaw and have some fun ! ha ha
just cut your exhaust off under the cab, and cut them 2 lil bump stops out and you should be good to go! est. time prob half hr. to cut all 3 out
