Re: Changes
i bought a set of 18" coys c-57s for it, but it turns out they hit the
bedsides really bad when i aired it out. therefore i decided it might
as well get a ford 8.8 rear end and have it narrowed, as well as a new
rear setup that would get enough lift to get in and out of driveways
without draggin.
old rear setup waiting for a new home:

new wishbone tacked in, old bridge setup not removed yet:

all the old shit cut out:

fuel cell moved forward and dropped down:

also boxed the frame from the back of the cab to the notch

the suspension is pretty much all done now, aside from running a few lines and such.
a skeleton has been started for a sheetmetal bed floor and sides. gonna be a flat floor all the way across the bed except where the wheel tubs will stick above it. hopefully the bed will be pretty close to finished this weekend.

Re: Changes
shot of the wheels

last year i also changed out the stock s10 seats for some cavalier buckets and dyed the dash and door panels and interior plastics satin black, and put in a black headliner and black carpet, and replaced the uncomfortable racing harnesses with regular seatbelts.
decided to finish up the interior a little more this year, so i had the seats reupholstered. wife got me a pair of billet window cranks for valentine's day (i got her a $10 car cell phone charger, woops.
) and a billet steering wheel for my birthday, so those will be on soon enough. also gonna recover part of the door panels in the same ostrich material that is on the seats.
