1SIK69 build
Ok guys, I know I pissed a few of the guys off in my club for doing it but I sold my dime and bought a 69 Chevy SWB. I also bought another dime. It is a 95 Ext Cab or my wife. Alright we here is what is going on with 1SIK69. It came with a 305 ci engine and a Turbo 350 tranny. I just got a 350 and 400 tranny that I am gonna clean up and drop it in real soon. I have everything to convert it to 5 lug. The lower control arms have already been plated and Zed and they have drop spindles. They were set up to lay out on 22's. Gonna Z the frame. I got the rear end as well. I am installing headers and 2 flowmasters. For the motor I ordered a bunch of polished aluminum goodies ie. valve covers, timing chain cover, breather etc. I ordered all my air ride ca-ca from SD the other day. Should have all that in a few weeks. A buddy of mine had some 20 inch wire wheels I picked up from for $200. I am gonna roll those until I can find some 22's. I got a Phantom Billet grill. I am debating whether to do a cali combo or just relocate tailgate handle and do a roll pan or the stock bumber. As far as the interior goes I have a billet steering column dress up kit already. I ordered a Grant billet steering wheel adapter. I have a Grant GT wheel but I wanna find a nice polished wheel. Haven't decided on the seat. I keep going back and forth between keeping the bench and getting some leather out of a nice Lincoln or something. I am definitely going to get the one piece window kit for it. The last few things I am gonna do it tilt the hood, suicide the doors and chop the top. I am going flat black for now. Haven't decided if I wanna paint it anyother color yet.
If anyone has any suggestions or tips feel free to share. Thanks guys, I will post pics as the project takes way. Oh yeah I also got my plates done 1SIK69.

Re: 1SIK69 build

Ok here are a few pics of when I picked it up. The body is straight just needs some smoothing out. No real body work except the passenger side rear bed corner is a little boogered up. That ugly back bumper is coming off. lol
I will post more up when the progress starts. I have just been so busy I haven't had a chance to do anything to it. My fuel cell is here and the polished aluminum valve covers. My bag stuff should be here in a week or so.

Re: 1SIK69 build
Thanks bro. I have been working on the exhaust. Kinda doing a temporary set up. I need some shorty headers so I can hug the cab with the exhaust between the frame so I can lay it out. I am just doing this so I can get it on the road. I am finding alot of shit the guys I bought it from just half assed. Like they didn't bolt the bed or the tranny x member in. It is saving me some time when I get ready to bag it but it is just the principle with it. lol I can't wait to hear it run with these header and flowmaster that we are welding on right now. I got all my polished aluminum goodies and my fuel cell in today. More pics soon.

Here are a few pics of where I am now. As you can see the bed is off and we are gonna start welding in the notches today. I got my headers and some flowmasters. I got some suicide door hinges as well. It is freaking cold outside right now so hopefully it will warm up. More pics as the truck progresses.

Yeah the frame is crooked like that from the factory. That is a monster notch from SD for that truck.
Jimmy, I actually have some 20 inch wires that I am gonna run until I get something else. I couldn't pass up the deal....$200 for rims and tires.
I just got 24 ft of 2x3 square tubing to make my crossmember for the 4 link and some other things. Right now I am trying to figure out where I wanna mount the air tank and compressors. Will probably work on it somemore tomorrow.
