Draggin'

Post by dimedragn on Sun Jan 11, 2009 10:38 am

I have never set up a drag session. I want to set one up for my show in the evening. Has anyone ever orchestrated one? Any advise would be appreciated!!!

well it depends on where you gonna have it really. are you gonna do it out on a highway or on a side road where people can watch?

Ya try and make it legit if at all possible, I was at the ITB '08 this past year at the Gauge Magazine Open house this year and that was on a local street, misc traffic here and there, there was a band and a ton of people. Make sure you get a camera set up to record man! Videos always light up the day!

Why do I see myself going to jail at our show? I guess if we have spectators I am not allowed to " send reflectors out the back of my truck lookin like ufo's "? This time you take the lead Monty so I dont have to worry about your windshield.........

get a group of guys together at the last minute and make sure someone has a video camera, hop on the highway and go do it. if you plan it too many people know about it and thats when cops get involved and then you've got to come up with an excuse why there 10 trucks stopping traffic and throwing sparks everywhere. lol

When I went to Midwest Dragfest in '05 Domination was taping and they just "gathered" all the people who wanted to participate and had a little drivers meeting so to speak. Then went out to the freeway drove, a bit out of town a little bit and had at it.
