Time to finish it up. The frontend works but had horrible neg camber, so much that even at full lift it had 8* neg camber. First thing i did was move the upper arm mounts up 2'' and flip the lower ball joints. This helped camber but the stock upper arms still held the truck an inch off the ground so what we did was simply bend them (similar affect to pie cutting) The upper arms are cast steel so we can do this without compromising the strength of them.

Heres a close up of how i made the mounts. I milled a slot and welded on some square tabs to retain the stock cam-centric alignment bolts.

Now it has 5*neg laid out, 1* neg at a 5'' ride height. All thats left is some sheetmetal work on the rockers and i gotta build a rollpan.

I dont plan on bringing it to CND but if he pays me to haul it up i will. Hes expecting a kid in 3 months so i doubt he will have the extra funds for it. I will be bringing my yota up tho!

Got the rollpan made today. If youll remember the old grant pan didnt fit, it was a flat pan and didnt match the contour of the tailgate. So i got a shrinker/stretcher tool and made a compound pan from scratch.

Still got some tweaking to do on the gap between the pan and tailgate, its even but the middle 3'' gets closer.
