Extension cord for 220?
Where can I find one? I need to borrow a friends 220w and need to run it from the basement to an attached garage..
Looking to find one at home depot/lowes or some department store.
Would it be cheaper to make one? If so what would I need?

Re: Extension cord for 220?
the last one i made, i went to home depot and bought 40 feet of 3 wire, i forgot the gauge i got though.. 10 gauge i think..
before that, i went to a camper and rv store and bought a 50 footer from them for like $30, and then cut the ends off and put the right ends on it... i think its cheaper this way

Re: Extension cord for 220?
well good news is i found one I can borrow..
Also, found out that my garage has 220, but its just not hooked up..
my bro says we just have to unplug the dryer and then plug it in, in the basement.
