Kyles Avalanche

Post by Guilty By Design on Fri Mar 12, 2010 1:25 am

You all probably know this avalanche...

It now belongs to a local guy named kyle and he brought it in yesterday. Seems it was built with single shearload mounts for the lower and upper control arms, shockingly they broke.

Luckily the only casualty was the brake lines.

And apparently the lower balljoint nut was a lil loose, no cotter keys on ANY balljoint bolts.

Both bolts are snapped off inside the shaft and def siezed up so im gonna cut the shaft out and machine a new one, and add tabs so this WONT HAPPEN AGAIN. He plans on following me down to Tex Mex so hopefully its not too much of a pain in the ass.
