Ranger Rebuild

Post by Drucifer29 on Sun Feb 28, 2010 3:06 pm

Got my rendering today so now i can start on the rebuild.
Got a new Grant rollpan in the mail couple days ago, gonna get that put on a little later today hopefully and get the gas door shaved. Start gutting the interior so i can work on the dash and door panels while the seats are at the upholstery shop and the truck is at the painters. Hopefull have it all done and back together by LOATP!

Purple will actually be this color:

HOK Pavo Purple, The silver is HOK Orion Silver, bottom is just black

Well for those who haven't seen it. I bought it off Mike from Michigan last summer and it looks like this

So i decided this year it was going to get a makeover. Technically its my fiance's truck but, i work on it and drive it so im rebuilding it with her input. Not going real crazy on it, just gonna shave the gas door, tailgate handle and throw on a steel compound curve Grant roll pan and then paint it. Picked up some new seats out of a wrx that are gonna get recovered, gonna paint the door panels, dash and center console to match the exterior. Throw in some new carpet and build a new speaker box. Started working on it today and didnt get to0 far but heres some pics

PWNED U

Pwned:
A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."

Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned."

It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force.
"Man, I rock at my job, but I still got a bad evaluation. I was pwned."
