S10 frame question

Do any of you guys know if there is a difference between a 1st gen s10 & 2nd gen s10 frame? Someone I know is looking at putting a 1st gen body onto a 2nd gen frame. Thanks for any help

i dont think theres no different. I have had both and couldnt tell no different between the frames.

The frames should be the same. Not so sure about body mount locations. The first gens had a different tranny crossmember.

ok, thanks for ur help guys, theres already an engine & tranny in the frame so just wondering if the body mounts are the same as nothing else would really matter.

the front frame horns, the way the bumper mounts aren't the same your gonna have to cut some off a first gen and weld them on to your frame.
