My new billet grille showed up today. I'll probably get that put together tomorrow. The metalwork is done on the bed, so it's back on. I need to shim my compressors down a little bit tomorrow too.

You know, it seems like there hasn't been a single snag in the whole project. Most everything has been showing up quickly or like yesterday, the parts I need show up on a Saturday when I can actually use them. Kinda nice for a change.

Couple pics of my new grille in: (Looks like I need to adjust my driver's side light up.)

It's kinda ugly with all those colors. I think it'll look good when it's all painted up.

Taste the rainbow.

(backend needs shimmed up.)

I also washered my compressors down a lil bit.

I could probably freshen the lower grilles up. There isn't a billet kit for my bumper cover. I had to make them. All my pictures are just cameraphone pictures too.

I'd like some feedback on how your brakes feel with that hot rod booster. I went with a JM5 first gen booster and they feel like stock brakes. I don't know if a 22" would fit beside it though.

Dead thread.

Well I haven't worked on the truck much lately. Cold weather sucks. My ragtop is still waitin' to go in. I finally got some lights up in the garage though, which is a huge improvement.

Today I bought another fender and cut it up and laid it in place to get an idea. They're going to be bolt in fenders hopefully. It'd make it a lot easier to work on that way.

Also, I met Ernie Ball yesterday. He's been painting custom cars longer than I've been alive, and is pretty well known around here. He told me, "that's a nice truck", which is a pretty big complement, I think. It's gonna stay pink and black, but have custom mixed colors, 'cause that's the way he does it. He said it'll be "devastating", haha.
