shows you miss
we all have been to shows that we used to love attending but now are gone for good. post the ones you liked and a little explanation to share with us why you liked them. heres mine:
- Booger Bash in Charlotte, NC. it was held the last weekend in October at the Lowe's Motor Speedway and was one awesome show. it was non-stop partying at night, camping at the show and alot of nice cars and trucks. they had a Halloween costume contest as well which was a blast to watch. just an awesome show. it tried to make a come back a few years ago but failed miserably.
- MiniTruckin' Nationals in Pigeon Forge, TN. held in July and there was 2 shows going on that weekend. 1 was held by a guy named Charlie (i think that was what his name is) and the other was held by his ex-wife. both were fun as hell shows to attend. the night time activities were crazy. it took 2hrs to go 1 mile down the road and there was lines of people out by the road watching the cruising, burnouts and people getting busted by the cops. it was blast there!

Re: shows you miss
well not sure if it counts.. but if it does i would have to say Lay'd Out At The Park TN, because we went their in 2007 and had a great time hung out with some great people. From snowing in the parking lot of the hotels when we where hotel jumping chillin... to hanging out in the RV. The drag session was pretty sick to.. it was all legal 5 mile drag session and we got to chill on top of the RV and watch it... the show was canceled last yr but is now back on this yr... so we are not gonna miss it this time...

I attended the minitruck nats in pigeon forge ... back in 2000..... I think that was the last year for that show !!!! Had prob. the best time at a show or show's yeah the one was held at like a civic center called the goveners palace, and the other was behind the Schuller Inn hotel.... and the night scene was out of this world ... three lanes of traffic in both directions and filled with custom trucks and cars..... and of course the local ladies hanging out of thier windows flashing for beads!!!!! yeah I really miss that show!!!!!

Re: shows you miss
Down here Spring Bash and Lowdown Showdown are gone. Bash was my first show back in 04 and it got better every year as we became friens with the promoters. We went the last year of Showdown and it was a good time, but from what i heard the last year sucked. I would say ill miss Showfest but itll be back in 10!

H8heights wrote:What happened to ITB?
I got this when I googled it:Well guys, I'll just get to it,
It's with great regret that we have to cancel ITB for '09. As most of you know, we are partnered with a promotion company that is really the money behind putting on the show. For them, because of all of the same reasons that everyone else is facing lately...they're just not able to do it. I wish it were different. I know that we (CRAZE) have loved making this a part of your lives for so long, and I'm not sure yet what's going to happen in the future.
I can say this...people...PLEASE get out and support shows! Keep them going so that we don't lose any more! I know Craze will be supporting Slamology, and the Havoc show in Ky in FULL FORCE this year, and it's actually moving to the same weekend as what ITB would normally fall on, so PLEASE get out and support Slamology, Havoc, All-Star, LOATP, and all the others.
Thanks for everything.
