Daves Dakota
I got a real piece of minitruckery in the shop now, the SSC Dakota.

Quick story on how it got here, andrew from no law purchased the truck from a kid in TN back in 08 and brought it to joplin. After awhile a friend of ours dave had to have it so now it belongs to him. The truck is your typical cover truck, looks killer but sucks ass to drive. Theres a list a mile long of just little things that add up to hurt the drivability.

Good ole 2 link

They have the fuel cell (mabey stock tank) inside a sheetmetal box in the back. Back when andrew had it there was a problem with the filler tube getting kinked and it took 20 minutes to fill up. And yes yet again that is great stuff foam...

Upper arms. There are a few issues with these, the bushing ends arent in line with each other and we had to replace where it just squeezed out the bushings themselves. They also pie cut the BJ plate and welded it back together with the balljoint still bolted in. I know this cause some of the therads on the bolts are covered in slag.

Lowers are just as pretty. Notice the tie rod mod and the torch cut spring pocket.

Im gonna be redoing the backhalf, mabey even the 3/4 frame. Ill be putting a triangulated 4 link on, making new arms and shortening them to gain some turning radius, building a whole new bed, and just fixing al the little screw ups that should have been taken care of long ago.
