what got you into minitruckin? and who has influenced you

bump lets here some more people on how they got into it? and what influenced them in it!

Back in HS, all I really wanted was a VW... I ended up with a 93 Rabbit GTI, and it was a lot of fun. It was dropped 2", Tinted, and had a killer system in it. After that came my Samurai. It died before I could do anything. Eventually I got my first Ranger. I kept it clean, and the bed was dressed up with a cap, carpet, etc. My second ranger was a bit better. 95 Splash. dropped 2", 3.0 with some engine work... I have always liked the square body s10's. I got my truck after the orig owner blew a piston. I've tossed a donor motor in it to get it back on the road. I've also gotten the stuff for a 3/3 drop... now i just need the time to do it...

I first started showing my grand prix in 2007 and our first big show was summer showoff in ohio, I won a big trophy for longest distance travelled. lol.. Seeing all the bad ass trucks and all the attention they were getting, I definatley knew what the next vehicle that i would be showing would be. We then started attending bigger shows such as slam, itb, nopi, cruisefest, ect..and the mini truckin scene grew on me more and more from there. I then came across my truck for sale and drove there at midnight to buy it. Now the prix is for sale. and out of my mind...mini trucker from here on.

Its just a gt. Not supercharged, Is a nice car and has won 15 awards inthe ast 2 years. I think I have 2 pople interested in it now.

One of my sisters x boy friends had a chevy fullsize he had plans for and was allways buyin parts, He ended up first with a rollpan, fiberglass tonnuo cover, new grill and bumper. My grandpa had my 96 s-10 at the time that he wanted to buy cause of what he could do 2 it, my grandpa wouldnt sell. They broke up, time went by n i saw him n the truck laid out at a show on 22s n was hooked, next week a baught the grandpas truck and went to work and havent stopped.

MINI-TRUCKER for life! It's not a sport...It's a way of life

It all started out living a neigborhood many yrs ago where some mini truckers down the street lived and just watching them drive up and down the streets slammed. from there i always wanted a bagged 1st gen s10 and now i have 1987 ext cab s10 and i love it... the influences are mainly ijust the fellow mini drivers i chill with that keep me going and the shows. Just the whole mini scene grabs me and its somthing i never want to let go.

I had a static dropped xtreme didnt even know what a bagged truck was, then i was at taco bell one day and am ext cab real slick black rolled up sittin all high stopped rite next to me in the drive thru stared rite at me, dropped it, laughed and drove off lol, I was like wtf!? then i started researching. . . Dude totally burned me and i didnt realize it for awhile hahaha

Seeing all the gay ass civics, and tegs, and whatever foreign junk that my friends were working on made me want to get a truck and work on it.. I hate imports. They blow, and sound terrible.

Well its not a mini but what got me in to it was a friend has a 97 ford f150 painted and bagged and he let me drive it and I was hooked from then. That was back in 1999 or 2000
