what got you into minitruckin? and who has influenced you
i bought my tacoma in 2000 as a daily driver and started to buy minitruckin mag. when i went to itb for the first time i was hooked. the tuckin taco from indy has been my inspiration all this time. when i first saw that truck i knew i wanted to be on that level.

Re: what got you into minitruckin? and who has influenced you
I bought my 95 ranger in 96 and then joined the miltary. I didnt do much to it then I joined RPS and the game changed. The major change was my first year at INDY and I was only at a static drop, I saw all these rides layed out. I said next year INDY time I would be bagged and I was. Then I joined BALISTIK and then I lost all control. JIMMY

Re: what got you into minitruckin? and who has influenced you
One of my buddies was into minis back when I was into lowriders, and he was the first guy in town to roll with juice and full custom paint ( he worked at his dads bodyshop) The more I hung with him the more my tastes moved towards minis...then he started painting other trucks and started getting cover shots and I was around all that and really started getting into the scene and haven't left since then....

Re: what got you into minitruckin? and who has influenced you
i was a ricer...lol. my first custom vehicle was a slammed 97 Honda Civic. i had 17s that tucked, body kit, wing and painted flat green. well all my friends were minitruckers and i was becoming more and more into minitrucking. fast forward about 4 years and my brother was selling his 95 Ford Ranger Splash for $1200 with a bad motor. well i wanted a minitruck and it was the perfect opportunity to buy one for a good price even tho it didnt run. ibought the truck, sold the car i was driving at the time (90 Acura Integra) and used that money to buy a stereo and lowered my Ranger. i havent looked back since and i have since bagged it and done some other stuff to it.
my 97 Honda Civic was in the August 2001 issue of MiniTruckin' Magazine in the Graffitti section. it had a sticker on it that said CALI SUCKS. it upset Lance Martz....lol. the pic was taken at the 2000 MiniTruckin' Nationals in Pigeon Forge, TN

it all started back in 6th-7th grade my neighbor had a Integra Type R and i fell in love with it... fast as shit! then he was building another ITR but he was gonna put air ride on this one ... he had one that was juiced back in his day so he got me into lowriders. 64 impalas, regals, ect... so then i went and built a lowrider bike to get a taste of it... fast forword some i moved to a new home and was still into lowriders big time didnt no much about air.. just juice... been to a lowrider show and a few street raceing shows..
Then sophmore yr i meet my g.f and i had a s-10 and wated to lower it and juice it.. well she introduced me to my buddy max... who got me into mini trucking he had a bagged blazer x-treme. then he introduced me to the balistik guys and then the fun started. 2 yrs later i ended up baggin my truck and here i am today bagged and wanting to do more more more to it ha ha ...
i been hitting up shows all over the place in diff sates and i love the life style and never plan on leaving it im hooked into it so to me its not a hobby... its a life style im always thinking of something new i wanna do...

Re: what got you into minitruckin? and who has influenced you
I used to work at a Hardee's restaurant that was right off the toll-way near Wisconsin and a guy and his girl (Now my best friends) used to come in real late around 2 or 3 AM and they would either roll up in a Lowered S10 with a bravada front or a 2nd Gen blazer lowered on 20"s with HIDS, I've seen the blazer once or twice before but we started talking about trucks and how he was affiliated with a club and every thing, so I showed him my ride, I had a Yellow Sonoma ZRX tinted, HID's just the norm. He is how I got introduced into SubsonicKustomz and why I went to ITB08 and why I'm into mini trucking now.
