Wife got up for work and there is 3" of hot water on my floor..Damn hot water heater blew the safety valve...for some damn reason the water is getting hot as hell...4am and cleaning up a fucking pond in my kitchen...FML

well i just got in last months water bill and it was double, so apparently the main line coming into the house has been leaking for a while and decided to burst last night, I am thinking some air got into the line when i drained the water heater and got pushed back thru the line...any how its been wet for a while under the house from the musty smell I got when i opened it up this morning....trying to wait it out a bit so some of the water drains out...going to the Hardware store to get the clamps i need to splice the line...
