Re: Cash For Clunkers
i drove through the local ford lot they had 5 rangers and all kinds of stuff that was still clean and i wouldnt mind owning ... with the gov doing this its kinda screwing people who can afford a car under 10,000 all the cars that fall under this would be the "beaters" that most drive as a daily

Re: Cash For Clunkers
Just watched Fox news.. said they pour liquid glass into the engine.
Once they put the VIN number in the clunker program registry the car cannot ever be on the streets.

Re: Cash For Clunkers
if you know someone working at the dealership, you might be able to get them to pull stuff off of them since they are being scrapped...someone on one of the forums I go to is getting hooked up this way

Re: Cash For Clunkers
Thats why the program is taking alot of heat. Those 'clunkers' arent always bad cars. Low income families could use them, could be teenagers first car, etc.
