Cash For Clunkers

i was wondering if you could go to the dealerships that are doing the Cash For Clunkers program and buy a vehicle that was turned in. anyone know?

No you cant, if the car is not destroyed and sent to scrap they are fineed $15,000 per car.

yea and now are you hearing what they are saying?.... that if the gov cant pay for them since so many people are signing up for this, they can repo your car and you are out of a car period you dont get your old car back and you dont get the new car and you loose all the money you spent i herd it on the news yesterday sounds pretty sneeky to me they want every one to read the fine print cuz it says it their...

i drove through the local ford lot they had 5 rangers and all kinds of stuff that was still clean and i wouldnt mind owning ... with the gov doing this its kinda screwing people who can afford a car under 10,000 all the cars that fall under this would be the "beaters" that most drive as a daily

Just watched Fox news.. said they pour liquid glass into the engine.

Once they put the VIN number in the clunker program registry the car cannot ever be on the streets.

if you know someone working at the dealership, you might be able to get them to pull stuff off of them since they are being scrapped...someone on one of the forums I go to is getting hooked up this way

Thats why the program is taking alot of heat. Those 'clunkers' arent always bad cars. Low income families could use them, could be teenagers first car, etc.

Its our government at its finest.

ME AND THE OLD LADY KINDA TALKED ABOUT THIS AND YOUR RIGHT ABOUT THE CLUNKERS MAKING GOOD CARS. MY CLUNKER IS A 94 GRAND MARQUIS HAS SOME SURFACE RUST AND BURNS A LITTLE OIL, BUT ITS NEVER LET ME DOWN AND THE LIST OF PARTS THAT I HAVE PUT ON IT SINCE IVE OWN IT IS REDONKULUS
