Anyone/anything along I-70??

Were planning a trip to end of summer bash in new jersey in august and want to make a trip out of it. We will leave on the 19th or 20th and just be tourists on the way up. I did the drive a few years back but didnt have time to see anything along the way. Wouldnt mind hanging out at some shops mabey even crash at someones place for the night.
