Midwest Minis show in 2010?
So I am throwing around the idea of hosting a show here locally in hopes of building it up like the Dropt Out guys have done with their show...I have a couple of great locations in mind..one I am pretty sure I can get and I have a few friends on the county force that I could get to do security..So now I am trying to figure out a good date..I am thinking end of August First of Septemeber..I need a good name for the show and some help lining up vendors, and sponsors..I want to do a two day show..roll in on a Saturday and out around 3pm on Sunday...throw up your suggestions and start throwing out names of people I should get in touch with about sponsoring and vendors...

Midwest Truck Fest
Madness In The Midwest
Midwest Fall Bash
Coastless Custom Cavalcade
as far as vendors, hit up Gauge Magazine, Suicide Doors, local auto dealerships, some type of local barf wagon, a radio station.
maybe even tie it in with some type of charity and have some of the proceeds go to their cause.
im down to help out as much as possible!!

Re: Midwest Minis show in 2010?
I am thinking of getting the local fairgrounds..its fenced in and gated. It has a large area that could be used for a show field and an area where vendors could be at..also seperate spectator parking inside the fairgrounds..My sister is the MGR at one of the local hotels so I could possibly get a special rate for participants...keep throwing out the ideas guys...

Sounds like a good idea. And maybe you will have your truck done by then.

Re: Midwest Minis show in 2010?
That would require me to finish something on it before starting on something else!...we need to throw a finish Paco's truck party one weekend this summer and get it done..4 people and a 3 day weekend and it could be done._________________
