Re: Time for a winter project.
I'm a retard and took the picture before I washed it.

Truck's home. I'll be workin' on the air management this weekend. Third brake light's shaved.
I gotta get a freeze plug fixed. It's leaking. Sucks big time. It's right behind a motor mount too... bleh.

Re: Time for a winter project.
I've got my tank in, the gauge lines and switchbox line ran into the cab. Just realized I need to scoot the tank a little more towards the front of the truck so the bed crossmember doesn't hit the tank legs.

I'm gonna run to town for some lunch and a few odds and ends. Probably will get a little more done on it after that.

Re: Time for a winter project.
Haha, I got rid of it. The fenders are staying whole. The bed will be as it is in the pictures. He's just gotta finish welding and grinding. It'll prob end up Rhino Lined too.
We got a lot done with the compressors yesterday. We test ran them through the relays and pressure switch last night. The new 4 gauge wire needs ran, and I had to order a 45 degree PTC fitting. After that I'll have a working air system.
We need to throw my old bed on it and see if I need to lower down the compressors to clear the bed floor. No biggie though, I can just use washers for that.

Re: Time for a winter project.
Haven't looked at the truck since last weekend. Hopefully my fittings show up today or tomorrow. Then I'll have the air management pretty much done.
I got a new grille shell for it too. It's got a chrome insert in the grille opening, so my billet grille will sit back in it. Should look good.

Re: Time for a winter project.
My friends just came and trailered my truck away. It's gonna go on their lift and get the leaky freeze plug replaced tomorrow.

Re: Time for a winter project.
Well my truck is home after having the freeze plug fixed.
Since my truck is gonna get a paint job, I'm gonna freshen up some of the front end stuff. This is what it was like:

I'm keeping the same headlights and grille type. I got this new grille last weekend. It's got the chrome around the inside of the opening. I also ordered a new billet to sit frenched back into it, instead of flush like my old one.

Still thinking about leaving my bumper the same or not. Only real option would be an Envoy bumper cover. I just don't want to have too much shit going on on the front end since I have that cowl hood now. Less is more IMO.
